With on meaningful exception (below), District Settings capture basic details about the district. The information can be used in notification templates.
The meaningful exception is Days to excuse absenteeism. This setting provides a defers absenteeism calculations that trigger transitions and notifications. The default setting is 5 days. The delay means that the district and sites have 5 days to correct absence records before notifications are generated and sent.
Note: the absence records will appear in Attend as they are made available by the student information system data feed but calculations and notifications will not account for the absences until the days to excuse absenteeism time frame has passed.
