District Settings
District Settings allows you to manage the basic settings for a district including contact information, inter district transfer expiry notification, and whether to allow internal or external transfers.
Contact Information
This information is shared on outgoing email notifications. A good practice is to set the email information to a distribution list email so that your team can receive inquiries from parents.
Expiry Notification
The number of weeks before a transfer expires that a parent will be notified that they need to renew their inter district transfer if they wish their student to continue attending the school next year.
Allow Internal / External Transfer
Districts do not always follow the same transfer windows.
- Checking "Allow parent for internal transfers" enables parents to initiate an intra-district transfer. If your transfer window is closed, uncheck this box.
- Checking "Allow parent for external transfers" allows parents from external districts to request an inter-district transfer to your district. If you do not want to accept inter-district transfers, uncheck this box.
